wtv. sought to expand their video product offering by creating a bespoke UGC video app. The idea was to make it easier for their clients to capture and share the unique and inspiring stories of their employees, while still being polished and professional. The app needed to have an appealing, modern interface and be user-friendly for a diverse, international user base, as well as have strict security settings to protect the corporate-owned content.
CREWSTUDIO is an extension of the wtv. brand so we utilised their established style guide and colour palette to create a new brand that references the parent company but is also easily recognisable on its own. The pink palette is bright, eye-catching and fun. Since companies with employees all over the world, working in many different fields are expected to use the app, the interface is specifically designed to be simple to use and to follow clear, direct user paths. We developed MVP and launched beta in under 2 months using an agile process that adapted to user input and learning as we went. The end result is a powerful new tool for UGC video communications, packaged in a beautiful, easy to use, accessible app.
